O human, in Kaliyug, only by extolling the greatness of Ram and Krishn can you be delivered. Ravan and Kamsa had many qualities, opulence, with a vast army. Even then, instead of eulogising them, the smallest acts of Ram in Ramayan and Krishn in Bhagvatam, from their childhood to their gentleness, compassion, love for duty and honest true conduct of their great personality are mentioned in fine details. Like this, welfare (kalyan) happens by talking about those who take a pledge of truth and propagation of the paths shown by them and not those who oppose these.
The human of today knows all facts, yet is not ready to awaken, or perform karm towards this because the mechanical mind of Kaliyug keeps thinking and wondering -‘what would be the benefit of awakening the consciousness?’ In earlier ages, waves of people arose due to the power of the pen. People were ready to even sacrifice their lives. It is a Law of Nature that no technique that existed earlier works blindly in a new situation, neither can a readymade formula be applied to the same. Since the base of the ladder from which any movement or revolution reaches its peak is essentially the penance of a sadhak of truth, the form of which changes according to the time requirement, some things are to be left and others added to earlier solutions, according to the need of the hour, through dhyan and wisdom.
Whatever the age, the path is always one, so where ever even the slightest amount of truth is visible, drop the ego and join in, to make the line of truth bigger, so the line of falsehood is automatically reduced. Because now the time has come when falsehood will kill falsehood. The duty (karm) of truth is just to remain firm in itself, increasing its radiance (tej) so that it becomes ‘mercurial’ like mercury, and merges with other truthful ‘mercurys ’ increasing their form so much that falsehood cannot it clasp it with a pinch.
In Treta yug, during the war between avatar Ram and learned Ravan, only those with inferior intellect but with the thoughts and love for truth came to the rescue. By the time of Dwapar yug, at the time of the Mahabharat, Shri Krishn also realised that those who are ‘used to being kicked cannot be convinced by words’ (laaton ke bhoot baton se nahin manate). Even after giving his entire army to the opposite camp, and himself taking the side of the truth, Lord Krishn became victorious. That Law of truth that tradition (Reeti) of personal discipline and the wisdom of the Geeta – which states that to tolerate injustice is also injustice, assisted in freeing Bharat, but, it could not explain the difference between duties and rights.
The intoxication of freedom and all the knowledge (gyan), through clever use of the words (vaak chaturya) has been used to justify selfish motives and indulgence in comforts and luxuries. And now the demon of falsehood is swallowing and gulping the highest Vedic Culture of the disciplined conduct (maryaada) of the Ramcharitramanas and truth, dharm, karm conformed (pratipaadit) in Shri Krishn’s Geeta.
O human, wake up now, do the true endeavour (purushaarth) to imbibe the path of societal limits (maryaada) and sacrifice of the superb human man (purushottam) Ram and the duty action (kartavya-karm) of Shri Krishn for the deliverance of yourself and humanity. Become action oriented for truth. Enough of collecting knowledge and detailing it. This is the dharm of Kaliyug. At the end of Dwapar, Narad muni had said that in Kaliyug, the 16 worded Ram-krishn mantra will deliver. Understand the true meaning of this. Nothing will happen by only learning or chanting the mantra, the path of deliverance shall be enhanced or resurrected only by connecting to the philosophy (darshan) of Shri Ram and Shri Krishn and walking on the path shown by them.
This is the truth.
