ICAI CA Final And CPT Result 2017 Released: Raj Paresh Sheth tops CA with 630 marks out of 800 marks
Raj Paresh Sheth has topped the Chartered Accountant CA final with 630 marks out of 800 marks. The results were announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Agathiswaran S from Vellore has secured the second rank with 75.25 per cent marks while Krishna Pawan Gupta from Mumbai has got the third rank with 75.13 per cent marks.A total of 1,32,007 students appeared in the CA final examination and 93,262 students appeared in the CPT exam. In the CPT exam about 36,028 students have qualified while in the CA Final exam 19879 candidates have cleared the exam.
Two students from Bengaluru made it to the top 10 ranks for CA Final. The toppers from Bangalore are Dhruv Jain from Dhruv Jain from Banshankari. He secured All India 7th rank. Geethika Haridas secured All India Rank 10 with the score of 569 marks. In her interview to a leading newspaper she stated she had started preparing for final examination eight months after IPCC results were declared and I must say consistency and hard work is only way to get through. I continued my studies when I was doing my articleship. After attending the office, I would study without a gap, so that I do not miss on anything. As per the statistics there were 41,373 students who appeared in Group 1 and 5717 cleared it across country. In group 2 there were 38478 students who have appeared for examination and 6234 has been able to clear it. For group Both 7928 student have cleared out of 34503. The pass percentage for CA CPT results is 40.9% . The results of CA, CPT were announced at icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.org.
